AFK Fish Farming

Fish farming is an easy method of catching large quantities of fish and other items by fishing. Most AFK designs involve right-clicking an iron door with tripwire above it, causing fish caught to flow into a hopper and then into a collection chest.

Note: None of these work in Bedrock Edition, due to how tripwires and doors work.

This is a very easy machine, only need some items in the figure above.

When bobber float on the water, tripwire hook and string will detect it and send redstone signal to the iron trapdoor to open; after that you start right click the note block through the surface of the water.

When the fish bobber goes down, which means is ready to take fishing rod back. tripwire hook and string wouldn’t detected the bobber because it under the water now, and it send redstone signal to shot the iron trapdoor off, which stop you right click the note block, that makes you take back the fishing rod. The items you got will caught into the hopper and chest.

Here is all the items that you will get. Include fish, treasure, and junk.

Enchantment your fishing rod will help you a lot. Lure will improve efficiency; Luck of the Sea will improve the percentage to get treasure; Mending can let you keep using one fishing rod and don’t need to fix or chance because you got experience when you fishing.

Nether Portal Transport System

nether portal is a manufactured structure which acts as a gateway between the the Overworld and Nether dimensions.

Horizontal coordinates and distances in the Nether are proportional to the Overworld in a 1:8 ratio. That is, by moving 1 block horizontally in the Nether, players have moved the equivalent of 8 blocks on the Overworld. This does not apply on the Y-axis. Thus, for a given location (X, Y, Z) in the Overworld, the corresponding coordinates in the Nether are (floor(X ÷ 8), Y, floor(Z ÷ 8)), and conversely, for a location (X, Y, Z) in the Nether, the matching Overworld coordinates are (floor(X × 8), Y, floor(Z × 8)).

if no portals exist in the search region, the game creates one, by looking for the closest suitable location to place a portal, within 16 blocks horizontally (but any distance vertically) of the player’s destination coordinates. A valid location is 3×4 buildable blocks with air 4 high above all 12 blocks. When enough space is available, the orientation of the portal is random. The closest valid position in 3D distance is always picked.
